PFDW’s Political Action Committee
To support PFDW’s mission to elect more Democratic women, the Federation has several main sources to provide financial support to women candidates:
The Century Club – donors provide a contribution to become a member of the annual Century Club and those members are recognized with both a pin and during the Annual PFDW State Convention and the Annual Outstanding Elected Democratic Women’s Brunch. These Century Club funds are used to build PFDW PAC funds and to provide PAC contributions to Democratic Women candidates.
The Annual Outstanding Elected Democratic Women’s Brunch—recognizes Outstanding Elected Democratic Women throughout the state, each nominated by their local club. At this event, broadcast on Pennsylvania Cable News network (PCN), an auction is held, the proceeds of which, add to PFDW PAC funds.
Various PAC fundraisers—raffles with statewide ticket sales add to PFDW PAC treasury.
You can help by:
- Joining the Century Club
- Attending the Outstanding Elected Democratic Women’s Brunch and reserving a table of attendees and by bringing an auction gift of $25 or more in value
- Selling/buying tickets for fundraisers
- The PAC application for candidates is currently being revised.
