Any woman, registered as a Democrat. is invited to join the Pennsylvania Federation of Democratic Women by joining an affiliated PFDW Club in their county or local area. Each local affiliated club determines their local membership dues fee, which includes membership in the PFDW and voting rights per PFDW bylaws.
The PFDW is divided into 18 regions in the state and each region elects a Regional Director as its liaison to the PFDW.
Start a Club
Join us! To start a new club, please contact the PFDW Regional Director in your area for guidance. Here are the basics: PFDW CLUB APPLICATION
You will fill out a club application, must have at least ten members including four designated officers, the start-up fee is $25, and the per capita fee is $5 for each member. A membership roster with the name, home address, email and phone number will be sent to the PFDW Corresponding Secretary. We welcome new clubs to the PFDW.
In some instances, a county may not have a local club. If this is the case, please contact your respective Regional Director for guidance on the closest club. Or you may join the Federation as an At-Large Member. Annual dues of $25.00 per member shall be paid directly to the PFDW Treasurer. At-Large Members may attend all Federation Conventions but may not vote and may not hold Federation office. At-Large Members will also receive notifications from the PFDW, and copies of THE SURVEY, its official publication.
